We sell Andreaea alpina as a grown moss in many dimensions and we also sell as spores and mother plant in a mixture of agra-agra cloning agent and sterilized water.
These syringes are easy to use, just place an amount on the substrate or rock allow a few hours for the Agra-agra to solidify then place in your terrarium no need for watering as the agra-agra contains enough water to get theRhizomnium punctatum going.
we also sell the correct "Growing Substrate" for Andreaea alpina in different quantities to help you give your moss the best environment.

You will be receiving moss which has been dehydrated for shipping, when she arrives just rehydrate her by spraying water on her, and within seconds she comes back to life.

Check out our organic goat milk fertiliser pellets for moss!
Our pellets are made from full fat unpasteurized goat milk straight from the udder, mixed with red clay and dehydrated at 70 degrees. Our fertiliser pellets are perfect for terrariums, living walls, moss gardens exterior as interior. But of course this is an amazing fertiliser for all plants including roses, vegetables, pot plants etc.
Why is goat milk the best fertiliser for moss and other terrarium plants?
This is our secret to the beautiful moss we grow in our moss nursery, our ferns and succulents and orchids and other rock garden plants, in fact, our whole farm!
Like all plants, moss needs nitrogen, either gleaned from the soil and substrate or from water uptake. If your moss doesn’t get enough nutrients from rainfall or substrate a mild, organic fertilizer, such as one containing lactic acid from goat milk which non-protein nitrogen content is usually 5-8 % of total nitrogen. Signs your moss needs fertilization include spotty growth and poor color.

We do Internation post tracking with every order. Your order will be packed safely and I'll send your Internation tracking number so you can follow your order travels to you :)

We all need a little splash of color from time to time :) this moss is shockingly red with pretty light green ting. it is a wonderful cushion moss that will show her colors when moist and velvety allure.

A. alpina is a small moss forming reddish-brown to black cushions or patches up to 8 cm, but usually much smaller.
The leaves, which lack a nerve, are up to 1.5 mm long and have a very characteristic shape, being widest at or above the middle, narrowing to a relatively short, acute tip.
The leaves are appressed when dry, and erect when moist, with the tip above the widest part of the leaves somewhat reflexed from the sheathing base, giving the shoots a very neat appearance when seen from above.

Found on at least periodically irrigated rocks on crags, by lakes and streams and occasionally on drier boulders in humid areas.
It can form very large patches on shallow, stony soils where snow lies late in the year.
It is a predominantly montane species, but can occasionally occur at lower altitudes.
