Our spore syringes are easy to use, just place an amount on the substrate or rock wall interior or exterior, allowing a few hours for the Agra-agra to solidify no need for watering as the agra-agra contains enough water to get the fern going.

Asplenium scolopendrium, known as hart's-tongue or hart's-tongue fern is an evergreen fern in the genus Asplenium, of the Northern Hemisphere.

The plants are unusual in being ferns with simple, undivided fronds.
The tongue-shaped leaves have given rise to the common name "Hart's tongue fern"; a hart being an adult male red deer.
The sori pattern is reminiscent of a centipede's legs, and scolopendrium is Latin for "centipede".
The leaves are 10–60 cm long and 3–6 cm broad, with sori arranged in rows perpendicular to the rachis.

How To Grow
ferns can be grown in a moist terrarium, aquarium, or in small plastic boxes, as long as it is not too hot. These locations allow for better-controlled growth conditions and modifications to allow as much expansion as possible.
Low light and some added CO2 can kick ferns growth rate to an accelerated new level.

Our Syringes are inoculated with thousands of spores. Mix the content syringe of the syringe with potting soil. Cover with plastic or make small green house to keep moisture, and spray with water.

The first things to appear should be something called a prothallus which look a little like liverwort, similar sort of organism in fact. These are not baby ferns, but are the intermediate stage necessary to make a baby fern. The prothalli have male and female components that do the necessary mingling which later results in something recognisably a baby fern. In theory. This mingling specifically requires water – the spermatazoa are swimmers not crawlers. This is why ferns are usually found in moist conditions. This means that the pot needs to be kept moist and certainly not allowed to dry out. An occasional spritz with a fine spray of boiled, cooled water is recommended. I should see this intermediate liverwortesque prothallus phase after anything from 2 to 26 weeks, which is a bit vague as an interval.

Watering
ferns are the type of plant that will require a large quantity of water and high humidity spraying the leaves regularly is advised.

Adding diversity to an enclosure is key to an aesthetically pleasing enclosure. Try mixing up the look of your vivarium with different flora that can easily co-exist in the same types of environment.
